Sustain-Release Special Editions are usually commissioned pieces. The idea is to create something utterly unique — a collection of artworks and objects gathered expressly with the recipient in mind. The process always begins with the box itself. Often it will be an antique — an object with its own story. Something with a patina of age. A sense of history.

In addition to these bespoke pieces, the artist has recently started to hand-craft his own cloth-bound boxes. These will be available to buy directly from this website. They may contain a complete set of audio works; a single artwork, chapbook or series of images; or even a hitherto-unavailable piece of music, or an out-of-print album.
